We can now confirm that Richmond Swimming Pool will be reopening from Saturday 25th July!
To keep all staff and customers safe, we have had to make a lot of changes to how we usually operate. These changes will be enforced throughout the summer holidays and reviewed again by Sunday 6th September.
The pools will be open every day 8am – 4pm with a booking system in place to monitor numbers and to also aid the Coronavirus “test and trace” system. Your contact information will need to be provided as a necessary precaution to safeguard other swimmers. Failure to do so will permit us to refuse your entry.
Each swimmer will be given a 1 hour time slot (45 minutes swimming and 10/15 minutes to dry and change). We will be running through a 1-way entry and exit system. You will enter the building at the main entrance opposite the Station and leave through the back doors towards Liberty Health Club. Signs have been placed throughout reception to guide you if required.
We will be limiting the number of showers and cubicles available so we ask that you come to the pool with your costume already underneath your clothes to minimise exposure to others in the changing rooms.
Customers will be required to wear face masks when entering and exiting the building however they will not be necessary when swimming.
Due to having to put in these restrictions, we will only be charging the Happy Hour price at just £2.80 per person. 10x swim cards will still be accepted, should you wish to use them. Please be mindful that due to restricted numbers, limited spaces are available.
Unfortunately @thepool Café will remain closed until further notice so please be prepared that there will be no food for sale from our facilities.
Bookings for this weekend only can be made by email to enquiries@rltrust.org.uk
Future bookings can be made either by telephone on 01748 824581 (during the hours above) or via email to enquiries@rltrust.org.uk
